2021 Holiday Movie in the Park

By Events

CLNA’s Holiday Movie in the Park returned in 2021. For years, we have collaborated with the City of St. Petersburg and TASCO (the City’s Teen Arts, Sports, and Cultural Opportunities program) to bring our community together for the holidays to enjoy an evening under the stars watching a holiday movie. This year, our featured movies were Shrek the Halls and Home Alone. We also coordinated photos with Santa even for our four legged friends! There were crafts for the kids, food, hot chocolate, and a great time had by all!

November Preludes in the Park

By Community, Events

We are fortunate to have neighbors like The Betzers who sponsor events such as Preludes in the Park.  Members of The Florida Orchestra have held performances at The Betzer residence on numerous occasions, which can be enjoyed while relaxing in Crescent Lake Park.  At every performance, donations are accepted for different charitable organizations.

CLNA Kids Halloween Costume Walk

By Events

Everyone has struggled this season with finding ways to have get-togethers or celebrations, while still taking the safety precautions necessary given COVID-19.  After much discussion, we decided having a Halloween Costume Walk for CLNA member families that would comply with the CDC Guidelines.  It gave families an option besides going trick-or-treating, which was considered a high risk activity by the CDC.  The kids donned their costumes and received a basket of goodies at the end. A welcomed surprise was the City of St. Petersburg Fire Department who happened to show up at the end of the costume walk. The kids got to check out a fire truck as a bonus.  The kids and adults had a blast! A big thank you to Kristi Aussner who assembled all the baskets for the kids, the families who participated, and the neighbors who cheered on the kids in their costumes!

2019 Fall Festival

By Events

Crescent Lake Neighborhood Association held their Fall Festival serendipitously on the first day of cool weather this year! Our Board Member, Theresa Darlington, coordinated this spectacular event. So much work goes into getting an event like this off the ground. We cannot thank Theresa enough for all the thought and hard work that went into making this event so successful! We had ponies, bounce houses, face painting, food trucks, photo booth, craft beer, and so much fun! Bart Hanchey was our DJ again this year and set the mood perfectly throughout the event. Crescent Lake’s Fall Festival was made possible by the sponsorship of Steve Meyer, your neighborhood realtor with Smith and Associates. Also, we could not have done it without significant member donations. We would like to thank all those that donated, volunteered, and participated in this wonderful neighborhood event.

Some lucky Crescent Lakers recently enjoyed an evening with their neighbors and friends at Tropicana Field cheering on the Tampa Bay Rays. Best part was a win against the Cleveland Indians!

2019 Easter Egg Hunt

By Events

Fabulous weather and a beautiful location made for another great Easter Egg Hunt at Crescent Lake Park.  Of course, the children had no difficulty finding every Easter egg hidden.  Two resourceful kiddos found the special 2 golden eggs for special prizes.

We would like to thank CLNA resident and member, Steven Meyer, with Smith & Associates, Pineapple Espresso, Mana Bakery, and St. Pete Bagel.  Smith & Associates made possible the arrival of the Easter Bunny and Pineapple Espresso, Mana Bakery, and St. Pete Bagel provided delicious treats and coffee.
